Technical Sales Manager (m/f/d)

We cooperate with a wide range of partners. On the one hand, these are VADs and VARs such as the ADN Group, SHI, Computacenter, Bechtle and Cancom. On the other hand, we work with OEMs in the thin client area, for example Fujitsu and HP. We also have close relationships with a large number of technology partners, including Citrix, Microsoft, Intel and Jabra.

To meet the growing number of project requests, we are looking for reinforcement for our Technical Sales Team. Do you want to sell complex software products in cooperation with international channel partners? Then you are exactly right with us.

Your Opportunities

  • Development of new customer potentials with our partners
  • Close cooperation with our internal teams in product management, support, partner management and marketing
  • Development and expansion of strategic customer relationships
  • Being the contact person for customer-specific solutions and their implementation
  • Identification of future customer requirements and development of implementation options
  • Conducting technical workshops for customers and partners as face-to-face or web meetings
  • Coordination of the sales processes related to our customer projects
  • Conducting competitive and market analyses
  • Involvement in the preparation of trade fairs and exhibitions
  • Maintenance of customer and project data in our CRM system for optimized internal coordination
  • Provision of pre-sales support / technical support for selected customers
  • Cooperation with the 2nd level support and exchange information

Qualifications

  • University degree in technical business administration, business informatics, computer science or a comparable field of study / training
  • Experience in IT sales or solution design
  • Good knowledge of server-based computing, a good understanding of technical contexts and business knowledge
  • Ideally, experience in sales or partner management of thin client manufacturers (Fujitsu, HP, Dell, etc.) and Citrix skills
  • Self-motivation and the ability to inspire others in order to build close relationships
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking as well as empathy and communication skills
  • Excellent presentation and pre-sales skills
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 10-30% of the work takes place at the customer’s site)
  • Very good English and German skills (spoken and written)
